Le GRID s'est associé aux créateurs du projet "Algopoly", un jeu de société conçu au départ pour animer une formation à des étudiants. 

La douleur est un sujet complexe qui nécessite un apprentissage pour comprendre et évoluer. Mais comment rendre les formations attractives ? A travers des questions ou des situations, ce jeu permet de tester ses connaissances, d'une façon constructive et ludique. Le jeu est adaptable en fonction du public auquel on s'adresse : soignants ou patients. Le but n'est pas de gagner mais de partager ses expériences. Il suscite une dynamique de groupe, innovante et valorisante pour tous. *** GRID heeft samengewerkt met de makers van het project “Algopoly”, een gezelschapsspel dat oorspronkelijk werd ontwikkeld om een opleiding voor studenten te ondersteunen.

Pijn is een complex onderwerp dat kennis en inzicht vereist om ermee om te gaan en vooruitgang te boeken. Maar hoe maak je opleidingen aantrekkelijk?Via vragen en situaties maakt dit spel het mogelijk om kennis op een constructieve en speelse manier te testen. Het spel kan worden aangepast aan het doelpubliek, zoals zorgverleners of patiënten.

Het doel is niet om te winnen, maar om ervaringen te delen. Het stimuleert groepsdynamiek en biedt een innovatieve en waardevolle ervaring voor iedereen.

For 2026, the BPS award will focus on Clinical Science. The Annual Award aims to recognize and foster the scientific work of a junior researcher in the field of pain. The Award will be presented on the occasion of the Annual Scientific Meeting of the BPS on Saturday 6th June 2026. Applications to submit by 4th April 2026.

The next EFIC congress will be held in Lyon, 24-26 April 2025.

The theme of the congress will be "Comorbidity of chronic pain and mental health disorders : breaking the cycle". This interdisciplinary theme will be of interest to both researchers and clinicians, as it encompasses medical and non-medical healthcare professionals and touches on various fields. Chronic pain and mental health disorders (such as major depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder) are interconnected public health issues with growing prevalence, often coexisting and worsening each other’s impact.

After a second successful edition of the BPS Young Researchers Day (YRD) in 2023, a third edition will be organised Saturday March 22nd 2025. The event, hosted at University of Antwerp, will bring together young researchers and clinicians having an interest in basic or clinical research in the field of pain in Belgium. The event provides a unique opportunity to get to know each other, to learn about the current novelties in pain research carried out by ‘the next generation in pain’, to interact and exchange ideas and foster “bench-to-bedside” collaborations.
